JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 20832 JOB TITTLE: Library Media Program Coordinator - Educational Foundations - 20832 ATTENTION: .The Department of Educational Foundations in the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a full-time instructional Library Media Program Coordinator (Project Coordinator, AD035). The department seeks an Instructional Academic Staff Member with expertise in library studies, school library media, information science, or related field. This position will serve as program director for the Library Media program. JOB DETAILS: Academic preparation should reflect one or more of the following broad areas: library studies, school library media, information science, or related fields. Primary responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in connection with the Library Media program and the UW System School Library Education Cooperative (UWSSLEC). Responsibilities also include directing the Library Media program in coordination with supporting faculty and staff. The successful candidate will be expected to advise students in UWSSLEC and library science and school library minors. The candidates will also be expected to embrace inclusion as a member of the university community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses in the Library Media Program and University of Wisconsin System School Library Education Collaborative (UWSSLEC). Administrative responsibilities include program coordination of the library media program. The administrative responsibility reduces the average teaching load to a 3/4. Administrative responsibilities continue through the summer semesters and will be compensated with additional stipends. Instructors at UW-W may be required to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, online, and/or in a hybrid format, or courses in the evenings or on weekends.
