Summary You will serve as a PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (GENERAL) in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of MARCORPSBARRACKS. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-12310247-24-JCP. Responsibilities You will assist with facility inspections and associated reporting as required, prepares detailed cost estimates for submission to higher Headquarters in connection with projects requiring special authorization and allotment of funds. You will investigate complaints from customers relative to service, damages, property loss, and other matters which involve the contract. You will interview complainant, inspects worksite, work performed, search, may conduct additional interviews or inspections. You will review and evaluates requests for contract modifications and change orders. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including developing small project packages to include statements of work and estimates, liaise with contracting office and contractors, monitor contractors' performance, and provide operational and technical interface with contractor counterparts. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
