Job Description

Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and understand scientific literature, including being able to identify study characteristics such as populations, interventions/exposures, comparators, and outcomes

  • Knowledge of different types of study designs and ability to identify study designs

  • Screen studies for evidence reviews by comparing literature to a set of inclusion/exclusion criteria

  • Up to 20 hours per week; workload will fluctuate on weekly basis

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled at TAMU graduate program

  • Experience with nutrition research or a related field (e.g., public health, epidemiology)

  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation

  • Computer access

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Ability to understand scientific literature related to nutrition and health

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability for critical thinking

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
