Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, setup, program, and operate sound equipment for various events such as dance, theater plays, music recitals, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education – High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience – Some related experience required.

  • May not be currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge of:

  • Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to troubleshoot audio issues.

Ability to:

  • Multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Maintain strong relationships with production stakeholders and coworkers.

Physical Requirements – General office environment (repetitive movement, standing and walking)

Other Requirements

  • Position requires working evening and/or weekend hours.

  • Position requires keeping a work schedule of 19 hours per week.

  • Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.

  • Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Salary : $23.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly
