SUMMARY Under the clinical supervision of a supervising physician, the incumbent is a certified Physician Assistant who possesses advanced training/skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating the wellpatient as well as the patient with acute illness and disease. Works in a collaborative team practicethat recognizes the patient as the central focus. Supports the physician in situations requiringphysical assessment and complex communications with patients. Serves as a patient educator inareas of specialization.
