Job Description

The Division of International Banking and Finance Studies in the A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) seeks a full-time Instructional Assistant Professor of Business Law to begin in Fall 2024. TAMIU is a growing university of over 8,400 students located in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant bilingual and bicultural city with a population of about 250,000. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching, and participating in service activities appropriate at an AACSB accredited business school. This is a non-tenure-track position. Primary duties will include 5-5 teaching load. Applicants are expected to be versatile, with an ability and willingness to teach a variety of Business Law courses. Individuals applying for this position may have teaching interests in any area of Business Law. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. Applicants must be willing to teach evening and online courses.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold an earned Juris Doctor degree. Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.
