The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Salary:

$3,042.67 - $5,000.00 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

Based in downtown Fort Worth, the Administrative Coordinator II will work under general supervision, and provide administrative, office and event support to Texas A&M-Fort Worth.

Responsibilities:- Provides administrative support to the Texas A&M-Fort Worth staff.

  • Officing in the reception area, greets and directs visitors to appropriate staff, receives deliveries, answers and routes incoming phone calls, and records messages.

  • Distributes mail, inventories office supplies and assists with general office support.

  • Maintains a neat and orderly office environment.- Assists with planning and coordination of space reservations, meetings and events and maintains a calendar for all activities of Texas A&M-Fort Worth.- Supports the Texas A&M-Fort Worth Director of Operations with office procedure development.

  • Monitors project timelines and clearly communicates office needs.

  • Analyzes, adapts, and recommends program, project, or process improvements.

  • May monitor compliance with policies and procedures.- Works collaboratively and cooperatively with other System member offices and agencies.

  • Exercises initiative and judgment in supporting administrators and staff with general administrative tasks and activities.- Collaboratively assists with planning and coordination of logistical and administrative support for events, meetings or other special functions and provides on-site support.

  • Maintains multipurpose spaces at the Texas A&M-Fort Worth office.- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Demonstrated planning and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and proactively. - Attention to detail and follow through skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet, calendar, and presentation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education experience is preferred.
