Responsibility:
The chosen candidate will bear the responsibility of conducting regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety regulations, alongside developing and refining quality assurance policies and procedures to boost operational efficiency. Detailed documentation of quality-related activities, including inspections and corrective actions, will be meticulously maintained, while quality metrics will be monitored and analyzed to pinpoint trends and areas for enhancement. They will spearhead quality improvement initiatives and offer support where necessary, in addition to aiding in the formulation of project scopes and overseeing special projects aligned with Divisional needs. Furthermore, they will be entrusted with coordinating and overseeing all facets of planning and design efforts for both short and long-term QA projects, conducting thorough station inspections, identifying defects, and communicating urgency and appropriate actions to field management. Lastly, they will execute specialized projects as directed by management to adapt to evolving Divisional requirements.
Compensation:
Station Supervisor I /II - (Lateral Transfer)
Education and Experience:
Five years of full-time satisfactory experience with a major railroad or transit authority; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of MTA NYCT rules and regulations.
Ability to perform an in-depth station inspection.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills; proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power BI
Strong Station Operations and/or Station Maintenance experience.
Knowledge of Hexagon EAM Software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgement and solve complex problems.
