Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The Experienced Advisor Onboarding Specialist will provide on-site dedicated onboarding support for Experienced Financial Advisors and Emerging Producers to ensure an ideal client transition and the new recruits are given the opportunity to experience what Edward Jones has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Transition & Integration Team to create onboarding plan for Experienced Financial Advisor recruit and/or branch team

• Provide on-site onboarding support and just-in-time training of systems, compliance, and required firm training to recruit and/or branch team

• Collaborate with Transition & Integration Manager to devise and implement a tailored transition plan for each Experienced Financial Advisor (EFA) / Emerging Producer (EP) so they can successfully conduct business at Edward Jones (this includes creating plan around inherited assets and new assets to the firm) and set appropriate expectations with parties involved.

• Identify additional resources as needed upon completion of assignment (i.e. on call BOA)

• Proactively provide coaching, best practices, and advice to ensure a successful transition.

• Act as main point of contact for the Transition & Integration Manager/Specialist to effectively identify and address any problems, concerns, and unresolved client transition issues from point of payroll until end of assignment.

• Develop and maintain working partnerships with internal and external constituents.

• Act as a resource to explain firm policies and procedures as it relates to Financial Advisors.

• When not on assignment or "on-location" will provide EP1 training remotely.

• Partner with the Transition & Integration Manager to work with Field Leadership to integrate the recruit into the region at the end of assignment.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $70659

Hiring Maximum: $116516

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred

Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 equivalent) registrations required

• Resident state insurance license - life, health, and variable/fixed annuity within 90 days

• Five years of relevant experience

• Travel required 75-80% of time

• Strong Product Knowledge (both internal and external)

• Must have working knowledge of all Jones systems and tools, including; Joneslink, Financial Foundations, Portfolio, Advisory Solutions, Relationship Manager and 5 Star Relationship.

• Flexibility with scheduling and working around branch team's schedule

• Good organizational skills in order to align with the needs of the recruit

• Communication and presentations skills, including ability to provide positive motivation and encouragement to branch teams.

• Strong client service skills, including the ability to work well in emotionally charged situations

• Industry or firm experience is required to understand the impact the role's decisions have on many areas of the firm and to engage in meaningful partnerships with the Transition & Integration team to positively impact both the recruit and the firm.
