Reporting directly to the Assistant VP, the Associate Director of Budget and Planning plays a key role in driving and designing the financial planning and analysis function for Syracuse University's academic, student, facilities, and administrative support units ensuring the organization is on track to meet both near-term and long-term growth and financial objectives. This position is responsible for providing executive leadership succinct analysis to enable data-driven financial decision-making and serve as a strategic partner to the University's support units.

The Associate Director proactively engages cross-functionally to provide relevant financial insights, analysis and recommendations to business leadership. This individual will lead a team to engage in meaningful projects and analyses in support of achieving operational targets and business performance, delivers results through the development of others, and serves as a change agent by collaborating with internal stakeholders in support of operational initiatives.
