Position: Change Management Consultant (Contract)

Duration: Estimated 6-10 Months

Location: Ability to go on-site in Palo Alto, CA twice a week.

Robert Half is supporting one of our Healthcare clients who is seeking an interim Change Management Consultant to help the Human Resource team for an estimated 6-10 month project. We are looking for a Certified Change Professional to partner with their Human Resource and IT team to help with their on-going change management initiatives. This role is primarily focused on leading change initiatives, identifying risks and issues, status reporting, stakeholder analysis, and change impact assessments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Change Management and leading OCM activites.

Responsibilities:

• Lead change initiatives within the organization, focusing on strategy and planning

• Collaborate effectively with project managers, project team members, leaders, and other stakeholders

• Function efficiently within a matrix organization, providing support to various groups and teams

• Engage actively in producing deliverables, not limited to consultation or advice-giving

• Carry out Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, readiness evaluation, and the identification and management of change-related risks and issues

• Support large-scale organizational changes and/or spearhead small to mid-size organizational change endeavors such as process improvements, policy implementations, organizational design alterations, and culture/behavioral transformations

• Facilitate meetings to foster shared understanding and align groups towards common objectives

• Collaborate with senior and mid-level leadership to drive change efforts effectively

• Maintain a hands-on approach, being willing to work on-site for critical meetings, client engagements, and other essential tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar Change Management Consulting or HR Project Management role

• Change Management Certification

• Proven skills in Benefit Functions including plan design, administration, and compliance

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated experience in Change Management, driving and managing change initiatives

• Proficiency in Diversity Management, creating inclusive work environments

• Experience in Stakeholder Communications, effectively liaising with all levels of the organization

• Ability to Identify Risks, anticipate problems, and provide solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

• Professional HR certification, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus

• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR related software applications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence others

• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
