University of Utah Academic Pediatric Medical Psychologist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for an Academic Pediatric Medical Psychologist. As part of an interdisciplinary medical psychiatry/psychology team, the Academic Pediatric Psychologist will provide consultation-liaison and clinical services to youth with chronic medical illness at Primary Childrens Hospital (PCH), specific pediatric subspecialty clinics, and at the Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic. Responsibilities include assessments, brief interventions, outpatient treatments and referrals. In addition to providing patient care and medical support for clinicians, the medical psychologist is also needed to help train and supervise pediatric traineesThe Department and University offers a competitive salary and an unmatched benefits program, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.2% of annual salary that vest immediately.
