Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Application Specialist for one of our largest manufacturing clients in the St. Paul metropolitan area. We require a tenured technician from a production background, who is mechanically inclined to start this testing-focused role in the R&D space. This global team handles all polymers, epoxies, and glues within the client's electronic product lines. On a daily basis this person will use a variety of precision and dispensing equipment to run coupon assembly and coupon testing. They will be creating data-driven reports to explain the results of their tests and present/share that data with a variety of internal team members. This person will sit onsite in St. Paul, MN five days a week.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7 years of laboratory experience in enterprise experience in engineering, R&D, industrial or medical industry

• 2 years of postsecondary education in chemistry, material science, or biology

• High-level communication skills

• Microsoft Excel - Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Biology

• Experience with polymers or within the polymer industry null
