Description

The Community Institutes - Westside Psychological Servicesis seeking(2) Full Time(40 hours/week), Post-Doctoral Fellows in Clinical Psychology from September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025. Providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults, teens, and children. Provision of comprehensive assessment in areas of personality, psychoeducation, ADHD, and differential diagnosis of DSM-5 psychological disorders is required. Involvement in autism assessment preferred. Additionally, post-doc will supervise trainees as they provide therapeutic and assessment services. Maintain an active caseload of therapy clients. Manage and complete assessment cases on an ongoing basis. Supervise trainees in assessment and therapeutic interventions. Attend weekly supervision with the clinic director. Maintain proper documentation, in a timely fashion. Uphold and model ethical standards. Prioritize multi-cultural approach to treatment and evaluation. Some teaching with the Psychology Department.

The approved salary for this position is $50,000.00/annually.

Requirements

Required: APA-accredited PsyD degree completion, Limited NY permit within 1 month of start date, license eligible, Personal Liability Insurance and 1 year pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.Highly preferred: ADOS certification/training and clinic management system experience/comfort. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate cultural competence and must value the principles of diversity and equity.
