The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of materials for our customers by optimizing origins, destinations, and carriers and providing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold all company policies relating to the safe delivery of our products.

  • Review all orders for appropriate scheduling, including but not limited to verifying EPA license, customer account status, and inventory availability prior to shipping.

  • Coordinate with other departments any missing information up to a resolution to ensure shipments are released as quickly as possible.

  • Evaluate shipment location to ensure the order is delivered in a timely manner at the lowest cost.

  • Review and investigate any quality issues upon delivery and perform root cause analysis with the operations team.

  • Manage the freight carriers, quoting, invoicing, and dispute processes.

  • Work with the operations team to coordinate all actions, and act as a backup to the Shipping/Receiving Department.

  • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required some college preferred

  • Hazmat/DOT Certification

  • Strong Communicator

  • Customer/client-focused

  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • An excellent understanding of issues presented by domestic and international logistics preferred

  • Experience of working within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning industry preferred
