Vice President, Product and Solution Management

Position Summary:

Establishes strategic vision for enhancing our product management capabilities. Clearly articulates business value of new and established products, comprehends the market, assesses client needs, and guides the build of product and solutions to advance value based healthcare. Responsible for meaningfully contributing to the overall strategy of Lumeris' product and solutions. Partners cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation of innovative solutions.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and guides strategic direction for assigned clients and functional areas. Helps coach, mentor, motivate, support, and develop a cross-functional team. Supports upskilling, resource allocation, staffing, budget creation/management, succession planning, DE&I initiatives, and other People & Culture programs/activities as needed. Fosters accountability, collaboration, and innovation to ensure organizational goals are met.

  • Guides, influences, and partners cross-functionally across the organization to develop and refine product strategy and oversee the product life cycle process including identification, assessment, design, and delivery of new offerings as well as manage existing product portfolio enhancements.

  • Develops strategic initiatives and techniques to synch product roadmaps with optimal business solutions that create increased efficiency, revenue, growth and client retention.

  • Acts as a liaison for the organization. Creates and delivers presentations tailored to effectively convey strategy and outcomes to all levels internally and externally. Educates cross-functional teams and prospective customers on features and benefits of our solutions.

  • Accountable for all areas of cross-functional solution delivery to meet customer contractual obligations, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure delivery is on time and on budget.

  • Establishes and oversees goals, develops project plans, ensures on-time completion of tasks, projects, and work initiatives.

  • Ensures appropriate specification, process, documentation, and testing of systems before solutions are moved to the production environment.

  • Identifies and reviews ongoing market needs and documents customer requirements to recommend future product goals.

  • Publishes internal and external materials on product leadership in delivery of accountable primary care.

  • Indirectly oversees, builds, and develops a diverse team of domain experts responsible for identifying market needs and documenting customer requirements.

  • Maintains contact with professional associations, standard boards, and other companies. Keeps abreast of technology changes and research emerging technologies.

  • Maintains strong customer communication and excellent team participation.

  • Creates, presents, and implements recommendations on the operations of the organization and propose changes to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and facilitate future growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of experience managing large product and solutions teams that span across multiple regions

  • 10+ years of product management experience in the healthcare industry with product management consulting experience

  • Clinical background or deep understanding of healthcare workflows

  • Extensive healthcare product development experience with the ability to productize value-added care solutions not currently in the market

  • Expert knowledge of product lifecycle planning and development including a strong comprehension of the financials, market, and operational capabilities

  • Excellent innovation and technology skills with the ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

  • Phenomenal leadership, collaboration, and team building skills with the proven ability to effectively support and empower large cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with diverse teams, external clients, and managing many concurrent projects

  • High-caliber researching, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the proven ability to identify, develop, communicate, implement, and impact process improvements and strategic initiatives

  • Proven ability to create results in a high-performing, dynamic, and high-growth environment

  • Top-notch project/program management skills with the ability to organize and distill information, interpret complex processes/programs, develop realistic goals/metrics, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.

  • Proficient at listening, empathizing with, and responding to client feedback with an eye towards innovating existing solutions and workflows

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to influence and impact results at levels internally and externally

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, conceptualize, and disseminate highly complex/technical data in a readily understandable manner

  • Travel required

  • Industry accredited Product Management training / certification preferred

The hiring range for this position is:

$203,000.00-$295,250.00
