POSITION SUMMARY
The Retention Coordinator assists the Human Resources Director in administering HR policies, programs, functions, and activities as they relate to retention functions for all positions across the agency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree plus 3 years of progressively responsible human resources experience including lead experience, or the combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position is required.
Possesses working knowledge of HRIS system software and Microsoft Office as well as strong interpersonal and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work independently is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Takes the lead on agency wide retention efforts
Conducts surveys and/or periodic focus groups to collect feedback on efficacy of implemented retention strategies, as well as reviews employee retention data
Analyzes retention functions and provides best practice recommendations to enhance retention efforts.
Documents retention strategies.
Leads employee recognition programs and initiatives.
Checks in with all new hires at the 30 day, 60, and 90 day mark, communicates with stakeholders to ensure a successful onboarding of newly hired staff.
Conducts all exit interviews, analyzes data and reports back on reoccurring themes.
Assists with onboarding activities as needed.
Manages the W.o.W program which is an agency wide mentorship program pairing new hires with a mentor.
Maintains an understanding of the clinic’s organizational structure as well as knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
