The Opportunity

KBR is involved in a range of exciting projects across the market sectors

including rail, road, water and mining. Our team continues to grow based on some major project wins and we have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dedicated  Senior Project Controller - Scheduler  to join our team in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide planning and master scheduling services to major clients across various industries

  • Apply risk management techniques including risk register development, contingency planning and contingency management.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Lead Project Controllers to deliver resource management frameworks, processes, procedures and tools.

  • Drive project compliance and governance standards for best practice requirements.

  • Manage project lifecycles working with management and other members of the project team to maintain and achieve budgets within a tight timeframe.

  • Recommending cost control improvements, cost breakdowns and commercial oversight to projects in collaboration with the wider Project Controls team

Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled and passionate professional wanting to progress your career with a growing global consulting business.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Controls as a scheduler/planner on major multi-disciplinary projects

  • Experience with gated and milestone projects, variations, costs and managing risk including developing contingency allowances and contingency management, schedule management, framework standards, processes and tools

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of our organisation.

  • Technical ability in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel and SharePoint essential.

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Project Management or related construction discipline or considerable experience
