Pantry Community Coordinator - Community Health / Education

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Outreach Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of fighting hunger in our community.As a Community Outreach Specialist at St. John's Regional Medical Center you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our food distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, inspecting, and organizing food donations and deliveries.

  • Sorting and packing food items for distribution to food pantries and community organizations.

  • Lifting boxes of food on and off the truck

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring product shelf life.

  • Assisting with the distribution of food to clients and ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment.

  • Participating in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health service provider or community-based health organization

  • AA degree in health related area preferred, or comparable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted

  • Driver License - DRV LIC

  • ServSafe Certification required. ( 90 days to obtain from start date)

  • Fluent in Spanish/English languages

Pay Range

$21.70 - $29.84 /hour
