Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing

The School of Nursing at Hartwick College invites applications and nominations for a full-time, three-year term renewable appointments at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, to teach in Hartwick's Baccalaureate-level program, starting in August 2024, with expertise in Foundations of Nursing, Health Assessment, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Advanced Medical-Surgical/ICU Nursing, and/or Community Health Nursing .  Teaching load will be 20-23 semester credit hours.

Specific teaching assignments may also include courses in medical-surgical nursing, health assessment, and foundations in nursing science. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching, and to working closely with students.

Minimum qualifications for all positions include M.S. in Nursing at the time of the appointment, an unencumbered NYS RN license, and recent relevant clinical or educational experience. Preference will be given to applicants with a doctorate in nursing, at least three years of full-time college-level classroom teaching experience, certification, and additional areas of nursing specialization.
