The Department of Nursing at Hartwick College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position starting in August 2024, pending final administrative approval. We seek candidates with expertise in any of the following areas : Medical-Surgical Nursing, Advanced Medical-Surgical/ICU Nursing, Community Health Nursing,   Foundations of Nursing, Pathology/Pharmacology, and/or Health Assessment. 

Minimum qualifications include M.S. in Nursing at the time of the appointment, an unencumbered NYS RN license, and recent relevant clinical or educational experience and certification.  Preference will be given to applicants with a doctorate in nursing, at least three years of full-time teaching experience in a bachelor’s level Nursing program, and additional areas of nursing specialization.

Teaching load will average 20 semester credit hours or their equivalent per academic year, and all faculty members teach during the College’s distinctive four-week January Term. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching, advising students of all levels and backgrounds through the transition to college, active engagement in scholarly and/or creative activities, and working closely with students in a small college environment.

Salary Range: $69,000-73,000
