Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Palliative Care Service Line at Newton Medical Center. This role is a great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to demonstrate their passion and develop advanced palliative care skills while growing a program, all done in collaboration with a specialized interdisciplinary team.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to performing comprehensive health histories and physical assessments of patients living with serious illnesses, incorporate holistic aspects of the patient’s care and accurate documentation of findings promptly, and continuum of care planning. The ideal candidate will provide services primarily in the inpatient setting.

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

• Open to new graduates with Palliative Care experience

• BLS certification is required

• Must be Certified in Palliative Care

• 2 years of Palliative Care experience as a NP is preferred

• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
