New York University [Music Technology] Adjunct Faculty in New York

NYU Steinhardt Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions (MPAP) Music Technology Program seeks qualified candidates to teach in the following fields:

C Programming for Music Technology Lab (Graduate Level)

C programming for music technology lab is taken concurrently with the lecture part of the C Programming for Music Technology. The lab section provides students with hands-on instruction in algorithmic design & general programming concepts. Example code is implemented, discussed, & demonstrated in detail in order to provide students with step-by-step examples of programming design paradigms

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in music or music technology or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

  • Previous teaching experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience and significant achievement in the field.

  • Teaching at the Graduate level in the field.

  • ​​​​​​​For C Programming for Music Technology Lab: Expertise in C programming with special focus in music technology either academically, professionally or both. In-depth knowledge and experiences of hands-on instruction in algorithmic design & general programming concepts are a big plus.
