New York University Visiting Faculty in Mathematics in New York, New York

The Mathematics Department of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Faculty position beginning in September 2023. The appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor.

The successful applicant will teach two courses per semester in the areas of Topology, Geometry, and Algebra.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $52,000 - $102,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organization considerations.

Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field is required.
