Advertised Summary Job Description We are looking for a Tech A to participate in cardiovascular research in patients with advanced heart failure. The position will include working with biospecimens obtained from heart failure patients, blood and tissue processing. Selectee will help with ordering lab supplies and conducting follow-up visit with enrolled patients. The candidate will also be charged with the collection of other relevant clinical data, keeping charts/records complete and up to date, and timely entry of study specific databases. Performs additional related duties as assigned. The hire will be part of a dynamic research team with interactions within the Department of Medicine and Surgery at Columbia University as well as with outside collaborators.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Two years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology or physics or the equivalent in education, training and/or experience.
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
