The Brown Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University is seeking a Staff Associate II to assist in its research applying mass spectrometry to large-scale protein profiling and targeted protein analysis or metabolomics. Projects may include studies of Alzheimer's disease, viral proteomics (e.g. influenza and SARS-CoV-2) and other projects as assigned in support of areas of biology with high impact.

Mass Spectrometry 50%

Data Analysis and summarizing data in scientific reports 30%

Sample processing 20%

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Biochemistry with 4 years of experience
