NBC Universal Sr. Manager, P2P Transformation Projects in New York, New York

Role Purpose:

The role will lead individual programs or a suite of High Value Strategic Projects, primarily centered on in-flight technology implementation initiatives within the P2P Process. Key responsibilities include managing the program lifecycle, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the successful implementation of agreed solutions. Additionally, the role entails participating in the multi-year transformation journey of Finance by standardizing and globalizing existing processes. An integral aspect of the role involves analyzing current processes, documenting the As-Is process, and designing future state solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading assigned projects or suite of projects as agreed with the P2P Leadership and Global Process Owner.

  • Collaborate closely with project sponsors, managers, and defined project team to define scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timelines. Lead project workstreams, ensuring alignment with established goals.

  • Identify key requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors to create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accountability for achieving project goals.

  • Drive change and influence within a matrixed and decentralized operating model.

  • Develop and maintain Detailed Project Plans, tracking progress against milestones.

  • Conduct performance reporting and manage Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs.

  • Establish and oversee Project Governance cadence, actively participating or leading project discussions and forums.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in business process mapping and process design modeling.

  • Design processes and procedures compliant with regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Continuously evaluate process effectiveness to deliver high-quality and efficient services to stakeholders.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

  • 5+ years within P2P Projects and/or P2P Transformation.

  • Working knowledge of P2P and accounting/internal controls.

  • Strong technical acumen, particularly in SAP and P2P systems. Well versed with P2P Tech Landscape.

  • Exhibit expertise in process re-engineering, P2P process Turnaround, and technology implementation.

  • Possess strong analytic skills to gather, review, and analyze data for actionable insights.

  • Proficient in writing detailed business process documentation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and customers.

  • Ability to drive change and influence within a matrixed and decentralized operating model.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 (bonus eligible).
