Advertised Summary Job Description The Short-Term Casual will provide data cleaning, codebook creation, data analysis/modeling, visualization, and report writing on several ongoing research projects. Examples include: using survey and large administrative data to predict suicide and violence, preparing a data codebook for a large survey of health behaviors in college students, testing multiple outcomes of several clinical trials, and others.

Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant High school graduate or equivalency required.

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Demonstrated statistical programming skills including SAS and R.

Highly motivated.

Special Instructions

Preferred Qualifications Finished at least one year of graduate coursework in biostatistics/statistics/ data science.

Essential Functions Develop tables and figures for manuscripts 50%

Work with biostatistics team analyze survey and daily diary data for forthcoming manuscripts to be published in peer- reviewed journals 25%

Assist with development of findings sections of draft manuscript 25%
