The Research Assistant will work on studies related to lung disease. S/he will assist two PIs with the planning and implementation of several NIH and industry funded studies. Assist with participant recruitment, study visits, processing blood samples, and adverse event reporting.
Assist with participant recruitment and study visits
Screen and enroll subjects for clinical research studies by telephone and/or in-person
Collect, process, and assist in the compilation and verification of research samples, and/or specimens
Administer questionnaires/diaries as per study protocol
Complete and maintain case report forms and review documents for completeness and accuracy
Perform data entry and assist with routine data verification and quality control, ensuring data integrity and consistency with prescribed study protocol
Maintaining accurate and detailed logs of work
Interact with with sponsor, CROs, IRB and FDA
Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
- Phlebotomy training and/or experience
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.

Wear N-95 respirator
