Advertised Summary Job Description The Short Term Casual will Assist with the implementation of the division's domestic and international programs;

-Outreach to community based organizations and clinics in Northern Manhattan and Queens to secure placement projects for students;

-Participate in developing and distributing marketing materials (thank you notes to donors, flyers, brochures, forms, emails and newsletters);

-Participate in classroom and events preparation (set-up and cleaning, attend class/lectures/events, distribute materials);

-Create and distribute surveys to evaluate education and training experiences using Qualtrics;

-Office Support (organize hard-copy and online files, meeting notes, meeting and event logistics, etc.)

-Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant High school graduate or equivalency required.

The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant -Currently enrolled in a Columbia University graduate program;

-Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and program participants, both in the United States and abroad;

-Have an interest in HIV & AIDS, Public Health or Medicine;

-Excellent organizational, written and communication skills;

-Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher required;

-Conversational Spanish preferred.

Preferred Qualifications -Bachelor's degree

-2 years or more of experience in Administration/HR
