The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will provide support for research activities in the Division of Nephrology. The incumbent will be responsible for patient recruitment for genetic and non-genetic studies, including assessing study eligibility, obtaining informed consent and administering standardized questionnaires.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain informed consent
  • Organize and conduct baseline and follow-up study visits
  • Perform collection, processing and storing biological samples
  • Collect data from medical records and enter in research databases
  • Maintain detailed study files and complete paper and electronic case report forms
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements
  • Maintain database and provide recruitment reports
  • Assist with data analysis and participate in preparation of manuscripts and grant reports
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience
  • Spanish language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy certified

Other Requirements

  • Participation in the medical surveillance program
    • Contact with patients and/or human research subjects
    • Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
