New York University Clinical Faculty - Fall 2024 in New York, New York

NYU Meyers is now receiving applications for full-time Clinical Assistant Professors or Clinical Associate Professors with an anticipated start date of Fall 2024. We are seeking holders of an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field (PhD or equivalent or DNP or equivalent) at the time of application. These positions are continuing contract faculty lines with opportunities for renewals and promotion: For the current recruiting cycle, we are seeking to fill a number of slots with faculty having experience in and commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and qualified to teach courses in medical/surgical, maternal, pediatric, psychiatric-mental health or community health nursing, with an emphasis on quality, safety, ethics, and evidence-based practice. We are also seeking qualified faculty at the graduate level with backgrounds in one or more of the advanced practice clinical specialties taught at Meyers, clinical research nursing, nursing informatics, leadership, nursing education role preparation, or Doctor of Nursing Practice education. Graduate advanced practice clinical faculty must have current practice credentials. Simulation experience is preferred, and applicants must hold an unencumbered New York State RN license as of the start date. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching in a diverse environment as well as scholarly productivity and experience working in teams are required.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is:

Clinical Assistant: $104,228.00 - $154,228.00

Clinical Associate: $121,162.00 - $191,162.00

Clinical Professor: $151,734.00 - $221,734.00
