The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons invites outstanding candidates to apply for TENURE-TRACK faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics offers a rigorous and stimulating environment for conducting research. Faculty use the full spectrum of contemporary biophysical, biochemical, molecular biological, and cellular techniques to study developmental biology; gene expression, regulation, and signal transduction; macromolecular structure, function, and dynamics; and molecular neurobiology. The Department has a rich history of excellence in molecular and structural biology and molecular neuroscience. Cross-appointment with other departments or centers is also possible.

Minimum Degree Required: All applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.

Minimum Qualifications: Understanding and background in work with genetics, cellular, and molecular biology, and biochemistry.
