New York University Assistant Professor of Theoretical Soft Condensed Matter Physics in New York, New York

The Department of Physics at New York University invites applications for a faculty position in the general area of theoretical soft condensed matter physics, including biological applications.

This position is part of the initiative to develop NYU’s Center for Soft Matter Research. More information about current research programs in the Department and the Center can be found at https://as.nyu.edu/physics.html The opening is for a theoretical physicist at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor. A successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and is expected to establish a leading research program in their field and to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The appointment can begin as early as September 1, 2022, pending administrative and budgetary approval.
