The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an organized and energetic individual who enjoys working collaboratively and being part of a growing team. Individual must juggle multiple projects with accuracy and possess strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
Provide administrative support to Vice Chair of Innovation, Site Supervisors at the Allen and Milstein Emergency Departments, and Physician Assistant Leadership.
Manage calendar, including coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, presentations, memos and emails
Assist faculty by compiling documentation for reimbursement and work collaboratively with Finance Coordinator
Coordinate and assist in gathering information for special projects using sound judgment in determining priorities
Ensure the environmental safety and maintenance of space and equipment; collaborate with Facilities to resolve any concerns
Screen incoming calls, emails, mail and visitors, and manage or redirect contacts and communications not requiring the immediate and personal attention of the leadership
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
Cross covers for other administrative staff and performs other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience with at least two years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required and comfortable with new technologies and software.
