Description

Robert Half has partnered with a company seeking an Administrative Coordinator in the non-profit industry in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role involves a range of administrative and coordination tasks and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites. A part of the job function involves working with Section 8 and Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH). This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for data entry, correspondence, and customer service.

• Assisting in the management of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook communications.

• Contributing to the housing specialist leasing process, particularly dealing with Section 8 and Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH).

• Working within a non-profit environment, potentially assisting with initiatives for the homeless.

• Providing strong administrative support to various projects and teams within the organization.

• Managing and resolving any administrative issues as they arise.

• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.

• Utilizing Microsoft Word for the creation and maintenance of essential documentation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Demonstrated ability in correspondence and data entry tasks.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record in a similar role.

• Familiarity with Section 8 and Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) policies.

• Prior experience in administrative coordination within the non-profit sector.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
