Injection Molding – Lead Associate

Job Information:

We work 12-hour shifts on the 6's. The schedule for our dayshift, Injection Molding - Lead Associate is: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. 4 days on, 3 days off. We are paying between $70,000K - $90,000 depending on experience.

What you’re responsible for:

• Delegating, leading, and training ten (10) Injection Molding Operators to ensure they safely and effectively operate our equipment

• Uses injection molding experience to troubleshoot issues with equipment, dial in product quality and ensure continuous operation at all times

• Uses computerized software to order raw materials from warehouse (delivered to injection molding area)

• Uses computerized software to schedule pick-up of newly manufactured product (pallets)

• Ensures communication between warehouse leadership and assigned injection molding area

• Reviews Operator’s paperwork for accuracy

• Ensure final product is staged in areas not blocking common walkways or doorways

• Create and post work schedule each week at least 3 days in advance

• Takes and maintains employee attendance

• Generate basic reports for Plant Management

• Debriefs at beginning and ending of each shift with other management personnel

  What’s Required of you:

• High school diploma or GED is required. Post-high school education or training is highly desired.

• At least six (6) months of prior Injection Molding machine operation experience is required, 5+ years of injection molding experience is desired.

• Any related, prior supervisory or other leadership experience is required. Must be able to lead people. Effectively. Professionally. Consistently.

• Computer skills – including the ability to use software programs for inventory and material handling. Must be able to function effectively using basic MS Word (typing reports), Outlook (emailing) and basic Excel spreadsheets (quantities and inventory).
