Westchester Jewish Community Services Substance Use Treatment Clinician in Mount Vernon, New York

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Substance Use Clinician in our Hartsdale and Mt. Vernon Family Mental Health Clinics. Be an integral part of our innovative Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders Outpatient Program, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Social Workers. This role offers a hybrid work model with 100% outpatient focus, serving older adults, adults, adolescents, and families. You'll receive robust supervision, training, and support to excel in your professional journey.

Compensation: $58,000-$93,000/year, depending on licensure. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking staff are eligible for an additional $3,000/year.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing individual, family, and group treatment for clients struggling with substance use disorders, and any co-occurring mental health condition s.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Both an active New York State license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, Ph.D., etc.) and an active CASAC are required.

  • At least two years of work experience caring for individuals with substance use disorders, preferred

  • Spanish/English proficiency preferred, not required.
