Position Summary:

Provides care and treatment to patients

under the supervision of the attending physician(s) in accordance with

established guidelines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

:

1. Obtainshealth histories and assesses the patient in order to determine healthcareneeds.

2. Performs physical examinations.

3. Orders routine laboratory/diagnostictests and adjusts treatment plan as appropriate.

4. Makes tentative diagnosis about management andtreatment of patients.

5. Counsels patients in relation to their healthneeds.

Qualifications:

Required:

• MSN

• CurrentNurse Practitioner state license

• BLScertification

Preferred:

• Prior Nurse Practitioner experience
