JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Campus Clery Act Coordinator at the UW-Madison Police Department is responsible for assisting with the coordination of all Clery Act compliance efforts on the UW-Madison campus. This position assists with development of campus-wide policies relating to Clery compliance and develops and implements action plans for university-wide compliance with Clery. This role develops and fosters understanding of the Higher Education Act (HEA) and Clery for staff and outside entities impacted by Clery requirements and assists with identification and training of all Campus Security Authorities (CSAs). The Campus Clery Act Coordinator collects, compiles, and classifies all reports of Clery-defined crimes and disciplinary referrals from CSAs and outside law enforcement entities. This position assists with developing and publishing the Clery required Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report and maintains previous and current Clery maps of the main campus and all separate campuses (as defined by Clery). The Campus Clery Act Coordinator liaisons with and surveys all law enforcement jurisdictions where UW-Madison owns or leases property, ensuring appropriate notices are issued relating to Clery compliance. In addition, this role coordinates with all other compliance coordinators or officers in matters relating to HEA and Clery. Responsibilities: Compiles and classifies reports in support of a specific compliance program, assists leadership in regulatory report creation, coordinates notification issuance, and assists with the development and implementation of institution-wide policies to ensure compliance with institutional policies and/or laws and regulations. 35% Assists leadership with developing and publishing compliance reports in accordance with established laws and regulations 20% Audits and serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for potentially affected units and affiliated organizations, ensuring appropriate notices are issued relating to compliance 25% Collaborates with other institutional compliance subject matter experts to review procedures and make change recommendations to leadership 10% Data analysis for the Investigative...
