Performs central accounting and financial analysis functions according to established procedures.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Manage receipt distribution process from inception to delivery and serve as the primary information resource for Gift Receipting.

  • Assist with allocation maintenance.

  • Assist with monthly review of grants to determine Private Support items.

  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and other departmental projects as assigned.

  • Live and promote the shared values of the Texas Tech University System – People First, Integrity, Community, Respect, and Exemplary Service.

Ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers with a high degree of knowledge of accepted standards of courtesy and etiquette. Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple, changing and sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.). Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of proficiency, accuracy and timeliness. Excellent and creative writing skills.
