Working hours: Fixed term contract until Spring 2026, full time, 40 hours per week
Role
The Senior Accountant plays an important part in the day-to-day running of the Finance department of Academy Music Group. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the role supports the Senior Financial and Management Accountants, reconciling various Balance Sheet accounts and producing month end Management Accounts for multiple venues.
Our Team
The team comprises approximately 18 individuals with a wealth of experience working within Academy Music Group/Live Nation and other organisations.
Whilst the role has ownership of specific functions, the emphasis within the Finance department is on teamwork. The smooth running of the department, and the company, is dependent on all individuals focusing on team goals as well as individual. This is particularly important around tight deadlines, at month end, and year end. We support each other by maintaining an atmosphere of approachability and are committed to building authentic and valuable relationships within the team.
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Essential:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA, finalist/newly qualified, or by experience
Computer Literacy – Excel, Outlook
Strong administration and time management skills
Experience working in a busy finance department
Balance sheet accounts
Month end management accounts
Good working knowledge of debits and credits
Desirable:
SOX experience
Experience using Oracle
Behaviours

Ability to work on own initiative & self-motivation to handle conflicting deadlines

What the Role Involves
Various Balance Sheet reconciliations
Month end Management Accounts for multiple venues
Assist with month end forecasting and reporting packs
Assist with review of Accounts Assistants’ reconciliations
Assist with year-end audit as required
Ad-hoc analysis and tasks
