Aston Carter PART TIME HR Coordinator/Payroll Coordinator in Livermore, California

Looking for a PART Time HR Coordinator to assist with payroll and other HR functions for Medical Device Company in Livermore.

 Description:

The HR/Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that employees receive their

pay correctly based on current state and federal wage and hour rules. They will help

employees through various human resources procedures and answer questions about the

company’s policies. In addition, this person will assist in ensuring the company is

compliant with federal and state laws in administrating benefits, leaves, government

reports, workers’ compensation, and other department requirements.

Payroll process semi-monthly including payroll reports and 401(k) submissions.

• Maintain personnel files.

• Maintain the I-9, including I-9 submissions through E-Verify.

• Benefit administration by managing the website and monthly benefit reconciliations.

• Leave Administration.

• Manage timecards, time off requests, and make up time requests.

• Assist with employee relationship matters.

• Assist with recruiting.

• Assist with training and onboarding.

• Assist with separations.

• Perform various organizational needs.

• Assist with managing workers’ compensation claims.

• Assist and monitor employment compliance.

• Assist with handling and managing any EDD and Disability claims.

• Maintain various reports.

• Assist office personnel with administrative and business details.

• Assist managers as necessary.

• Other assigned responsibilities.
