Our Finance team is hiring at our Latham, NY office, located at 1187 Troy Schenectady Road.

Starting salary, $74-77k based on experience.

The primary focus of this position is to assist with monthly update of CECL model for ACL. This includes data file preparation, uploads, reconciliation, documentation and run calculation for the AVP to review. Prepare weekly deposit tracking and liquidity reports. Update monthly delinquency and charge-off reports for CECL/ACL review. Update standard monthly Pricing reports and standard quarterly ALCO reports for OnBoard. Process the file upload, reconciliations for ALCO model maintenance. Assist with model back testing, run quarter end regulatory reports and what-if scenarios to ensure separation of duties. Review, update and coordinate systemic issues with the following monthly reports: Home Equity Insurance, Loan Participation, other collateral pledging files. Research and coordinate the correction of data issues related to Finance processes. Assist with documentation of model assumptions and procedures, financial center profitability analysis, model testing/back testing, daily cash transfers to/from overnight investment accounts and borrowing and testing of credit lines if/when needed. Assist with configuration and setup of data files into the CECL model and with core processes as related to finance activities as needed.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 2 years experience in a financial analyst role. Knowledge of Asset Liability Management and permissible Credit Union investments. Strong communication and organizational skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, with an aptitude for learning to work with new software systems. Experience in Financial modeling preferred.
