Collaborates with all stroke team members to support data requirements along with quality and process improvement initiatives. Major Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for all data analysis and abstraction for the stroke program supporting change management and process improvement for all aspects of the stroke program. 2. Applies and appropriately uses performance enhancing tools in support of the improvement process (cause-effect diagrams, flow charts, brain storming), problem analysis (control charts, pareto charts, historgrams, run charts, financial analyses, etc.) and measurement. 3. Supports program-wide performance improvement efforts through facilitation for improvement to the stroke program. 4. Collects data and analysis data, reporting trends to the stroke team for review and action. 5. Supports processes that contribute to efficient, cost-effective care for patients who have experienced stroke. 6. Monitors and enhances the quality of data, analysis, and reporting. 7. Monitors the stroke patient clinical data registry utilizing predetermined criteria for patient inclusion. 8. Supports administrative goals of the neuroscience division and stroke program. 9.
