Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40 hrs

Summary of Position

To teach lecture and lab courses in Introductory Biology as assigned by the Department Chair.

Minimum Required Education

Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology and/or related courses from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

Minimum Required Experience

Teaching experience at the secondary and/or post secondary level in Science is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• To teach and prepare lectures and labs in Introductory Biology (Majors and Non-Majors)

• Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.

• Computer literacy required.

• Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.

• Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
