Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

The Department of Counselor Education is seeking an outstanding professional counselor to join our team. Sam Houston State offers CACREP accredited graduate programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling and Ph.D. in Counselor Education. Responsibilities would include teaching, advising, clinical supervision, scholarship and professional service to the department, participating in research and publications specific to counseling.

Candidate will be expected to utilize technology and may periodically be assigned to teach online courses.
