INFINITE HEALTH COLLABORATIVE Phlebotomist Clinical Care Coordinator in HUDSON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Phlebotomist performs basic laboratory functions: specimen collection (i.e. venipuncture, capillary, cultures, and chain of custody) & processing of specimens. They will focus on providing comprehensive care both in the lab and in the clinic and will be the primary contact for their location in-house Lab while being available to assist clinical teams with all patient care tasks. Full-time role, Monday - Friday typically 8:30 am - 5 pm. Hours flexible to accommodate business needs out of our Hudson & Woodbury locations. A \$1,500.00 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for a sign-on bonus. Essential Functions: Performs routine laboratory procedures within established guidelines. Verifies patient identification. Identifies and uses appropriate collection methods to obtain samples for testing (venipuncture or capillary puncture). Collects sample, evaluates specimen\'s acceptability, and labels specimen. Accurate and timely processing of all specimens. Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient/family preferences, and provider schedule, in collaboration with other healthcare team members. Assist physician and clinical care coordinator in exam rooms Give instructions to patients as instructed by the physician or clinical care coordinator Ensure all related reports, labs, and information are filed is available in patients\' medical records before their appointment Keep lab and exam rooms clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, centrifuge, emergency medications, expired medications, etc.) Maintain an efficient, organized clinical flow Gather and verify pertinent patient information; compile patient medical data Assist with documentation of patient data into electronic health records system Prep for injections, change dressings, apply durable medical equipment, and remove sutures/staples under provider direction Application and removal of splints, durable medical equipment Ensure coding requirements are followed during entry of patient information Act as a prescribing delegate to enter medical orders (i.e. medications, laboratory services, imaging studies and other...
