As a member of the Natural Gas Financial Planning organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordination, consolidation, and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range outlooks for various assets in Kinder Morgan’s Natural Gas business unit. Essential duties and responsibilities: *Work closely with Commercial Vice Presidents and other members of Senior Management to provide timely and meaningful analysis for use in strategic and tactical decision making

*Forecasting model development and streamlining of data and processes *Monthly analysis of actual results versus forecast and budget *Preparation of management performance reporting packages *Preparation of financial analysis for quarterly business reviews *Prepare special projects and perform research as requested by management

*Job level will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and qualifications.

Position Requirements

Education: *Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Competencies, Skills and Abilities: *Proven track record coordinating/consolidating financial data *Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of management *Self-starter, with a high degree of initiative, attention to detail and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills *Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to deadlines *Moderate overtime required throughout the year, particularly during budget and long range outlook process *Adaptive to accounting/budgeting/forecasting systems and tools *Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, in addition to proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint *Experience with Lawson and/or Essbase considered a plus

*Working knowledge of natural gas gathering and processing preferred *Hybrid work schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday in-office and Thursday, Friday remote) Certifications, licenses, registrations: *MBA/CPA Preferred
