Assistant/Associate Professor, Computer Engineering
Description
The Computer Engineering Program (CENG) at the University of Houston–Clear Lake invites applications forone full-time tenure-track/tenured Assistant/Associate Professor starting in Fall 2024.The rank will be determined based on overall qualifications.The Computer Engineering Program offers an ABET-accredited BS and an MS degree.
Duties:
Maintain a strong record of scholarly research,
Teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses,
Perform service activities, including being an active member of Center for Robotics Software in the Department of Engineering.
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
A Ph . D . degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related fiel d at the time of appointment.
An associate professor candidate must have a proven record of excellence in teaching, research and service.
A proven teaching and research interest in the broad area of Robotics and its applications.
Preferred:
- Teaching interests in ROS, d igital s ignal p rocessing , and/or embedded systems.
